Addis Ababa AIDS Resource Center

Addis Ababa AIDS Resource Center is established in 2006 around Teklehaymanot area of Addis Ketema Sub-City to provide the residents of the city with the most up to date information about HIV and AIDS, STI, & TB. One of the main reason the site was chosen, the are is highly populated and the area is very near to Africa's largerst open market "Markato". Thus, many youngisters have been beneficiary from the Center.

The Center is moved to a place where more users can access. The current location is around Abebe Bekila Stadioum in Addis Ketema Sub-city.


What the Center provides

Addis Ababa AIDS Resource Center. Providing an extensive range of information services on HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and Tuberculosis (TB). The New AIDS Resource Center, provides the following services:

  • A Comprehensive, multimedia reference collection
  • Free Broadband Internet Service
  • Audiovisual
  • A Huge Collection of Database

The Center's working hours:

week days from 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM Evening

Saturdays: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Sundays: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
