Addis Ababa HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Office then mobilizes  resources to help lead, coordinate and effect the overall HIV/AIDS prevention and Control activities in the city in accordance with the above listed intervention areas. In effect, there are various projects being run under the Office.
Addis Ababa HAPCO runs projects that are funded by different donors, the ones currently running being :

• Ethiopia Multi-Sectoral HIV/AIDS Project (EMSAP)
• Center for Disease Control (CDC)
• World Food Program (WFP)
• UNDAF(UNICEF,UNFPA,UNDP)and NORAD
